I’ll be joining my wife, Allyson, and 86 others already in Guatemala. We will be working with the Frontline Choir from First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.
From the Frontline blog: “On our mission trip this year our students will teach conversational English in an 800 member Elementary school using bible storying, songs and crafts. All the while they get to share Jesus with these young students. They will sing and share in several local venues such as local parks, Baptist Seminary, Police Academy and Orphanages. What an exciting opportunity to be where God is already working and join Him!”
I will be photographing as much of the activities as possible not only to make a record of what was accomplished, what we saw God do, but also to show what a great group of teenagers we have. Those images will be shared on the Frontline blog. Keep up with the group there.
This blog will be used for, well, anything I want to post. For this trip I will be using it to record my thoughts, share what impacts me, and I’m sure some images will be here. I mean…that’s what I do. Images here will be scenic, the people of Guatemala, or random stuff. I dunno yet.
I want you to know I appreciate you. Follow along with Frontline, and with me, as we experience God this week.
